The workshop in Barbados will be an important event bringing together representatives from regional architectural Institutes, consultants involved with the project and international guest speakers including Frank Duffy a past President of the Royal British Institute of Architects (RIBA) and author of the Strategic Study of the Profession and Joni Tyler Head of Continuing Professional Development at the RIBA.
Over three days the aims and objectives of the Acsac will be reviewed and the regional survey will be presented by Teresa White, followed by the thematic discussions by the participating countries.
Frank Duffy and Joni Tyler will then present their papers which are intended to inform the working sessions in which a new agenda for ACSAC will be formed.
The workshop will provide an opportunity for regional architects to review the status of the profession and define a strategy for future sustainability.
