Professional Qualification in Project Management
ACSAC is pleased to announce two courses in project management leading to a professional project management qualification. The first course is to be held in Nassau, Bahamas from 4th - 8th June 2008 and the second course being run will be held in Roseau, Dominica from the 9th -12th June 2008
Architects and allied professionals globally are recognizing the benefits of a professional qualification in Project Management. The American Society for the Advancement of Project Management (asapm) is an international association offering a qualification and membership recognized worldwide via the International Project Management Association (IPMA). This association sets national and international standards for project managers.
ACSAC, in association with JC Consultancy, the 'asapm' exclusive project management programme providers, is offering an intensive fast track course in Project Management leading to the IPMA Professional Qualification (Level D). The IPMA Level D examination offers successful candidate's full membership of the 'asapm' and the prerequisites for higher levels, where required.
This fully accredited course requires preparation and independent study prior to the four (4) day course that is followed by an examination on the fifth day. The course syllabus covers Business Case, Project Management Plan, Life Cycles, Work Breakdown Structure, Time Planning, Resource Planning, Cost Planning, Risk Management, Change Control, Quality Management, Health and Safety, Procurement, Teams and Team Building, Tracking and Control amongst other topics.

- USD $2,100.00 for architects who are paid up members of the Dominica Society of Architects or other ACSAC member institutes
- USD $2,500.00 for all others
Price is inclusive of tuition, course materials, food and refreshments, examination and invigilation fees and membership. Accommodation is not included but can be provided at preferential rates for early registrants.
