mark raymond
Mark Raymond studied at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London and before returning to Trinidad in 1993 worked in the UK, France and Germany for Conran, Norman Foster, and DEGW. Over the past ten years he has been responsible for a wide range of architectural and planning projects in the Caribbean. He is an active participant in professional development and architectural education in the Caribbean.

He is an executive member of the Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Architects and a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, a member of the Advisory Committee of the Caribbean School of Architecture in Kingston Jamaica and the Academic Validation Panel of the Commonwealth Association of Architects of which he is currently Chair of Communications.

Mark has taught in the undergraduate and masters design studio at the Caribbean School of Architecture in Kingston, Jamaica and was a Visiting Professor on the Master’s Degree in Tropical Architecture at the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena.in Santo Domingo.

In 2001 he merged his practice with the firms of Anthony C Lewis Associates Ltd and Gary Turton Architects to form a new practice known as acla:works of which he is currently a Director.
