Jo-Ann MURRELL is President of the Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Architects having recently been re-elected to serve a second term as president of the Institute.
She completed her undergraduate degree in architecture at the University of Manitoba, Canada where she obtained her Bachelor of Environmental Studies (BES). She then went on to the Polytechnic of North London, England where she obtained her Diploma (Hons) Architecture.
In 1989 Jo-Ann returned to Trinidad as a graduate architect and eventually became a Member of the Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Architects.
Jo-Ann is also a member of the Board of Architecture of Trinidad and Tobago, the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
A proponent of regional integration and a staunch supporter of ACSAC, Jo-Ann is looking forward to: an even closer working relationship between the various member institutes; common rules and regulations; and a fully functioning CPD Programme that would be used by all members.
