jacquiann lawton
Jacquiann Lawton is a member of the Jamaican Institute of Architects and the Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Architects. She has been developing the studio curricula of The Caribbean School of Architecture, University of Technology Jamaica since 1998 where she is a Lecturer in Architectural Design, History and Theory, an Internal Examiner of the Professional Degree Programme and Editor of the CSA peer reviewed journal, AXIS.

A scholar of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City, her practice has authored several built works in Jamaica including the National Memorials to The Right Excellent Nanny of the Winward Maroons and The Right Excellent Samuel Sharpe located in The National Heroes Park, Kingston.
